Paddle, Climb, Live!
Watersports not quite the adrenaline activity that you’re after, and you’d prefer to stay on terra ferma? Fear not – We’re Land based too!
Now located near Plymouth, we can provide local and national Climbing instruction, and lead Scrambles and Hill Walking.
- Why not make a weekend out of it? With an overnight camp, you can learn new Bushcraft skills and even have the chance to catch your own dinner (location dependent).
As a free-lance climbing instructor, Paul holds both S.P.A and and CWLA certificates and is qualifed to instruct groups for outdoor climbing (top-rope), and indoor climbing from complete beginners to indoor lead climbing.
Having worked for White Spider, South Surbiton, and JAGS sports club, Dulwich, he can provide private and group instructing sessions, including parties, specialist groups and 1-2-1 climbing development.
Hiking and Campcraft
Qualifying as a Summer Mountain Leader in 2003 , Paul is an experienced instructor in UK mountain walking, easy scrambling (non-rope work), navigation and map reading. Having solo climbed throughout the Highlands and Wales, he has also been mountaineering in the Alpes, the Himalayas and Northern Scandinavia. In summer 2015, he hiked through the Austrian Alpes and most recently he undertook winter International Mountain Leader training in Germany.
Camping is in Paul’s blood and he is an experienced wild camper; providing safe guidance on fire-lighting techniques, shelter building and camp cooking skills.
As a Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme Assessor, Paul can provide training and assessment for Bronze, Silver and Gold level groups, including paddle sport expeditions.

As a UKCC Level 2 Coach in paddle sports, Paul can provide tuition and assessment in BCU 1* and 2* awards.
